GGGA student Guillermo Casares captured his first FCWT win Sunday at Eagle Creek Golf Club.
Casares, who is a student in the Full-Time Junior Program, was tied for the lead heading into the final round and was able to capture the title by carding the low final round with a 74 in the Boys 13-14 Division.
Four birdies helped Casares, 14 of Mexico, distance himself by three strokes for the win, finishing at 5-over 151. In his only other FCWT event this fall, Casares posted a 4th place finish at Disney’s Lake Buena Vista.
