The world’s premier junior golf academy raised the bar one more notch, partnering with the luxurious Bella Collina Golf Club in Montverde, FL.
Bella Collina, located just 10 minutes from the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy housing and offices, will be the home of GGGA’s Post Graduate Program. GGGA Post Graduate students will train at Bella Collina daily, Monday through Friday, with Full-Time Junior Program students training at Bella Collina on a rotation during tournament preparation week. Bella Collina, which is also just 2.5 miles from GGGA’s educational partner Montverde Academy, will additionally host all Full Time and Post Graduate students for dinner each evening.
GGGA’s Post Graduate Program is tailored to high school post graduates who aspire to play college golf as well as for college graduates who aspire to play on the professional tours. Students have a full day of training each day, focusing on their individual development programs through technical, mental fitness and strategy training.
Bella Collina is nestled amongst orange groves and woodlands, overlooking the vineyards of Central Florida and two lakes, Lake Apopka and Lake Siena. Bella Collina sits on more than 1,900 acres of rolling hills providing a natural and serene setting.
From its longest tees, Nick Faldo’s luxury golf course design measures more than 7,500 yards. Using the Highlands rolling terrain as his inspiration, Faldo has created a traditional valley-style course for Bella Collina. Unique to Central Florida, the course features open fairways and sweeping dunes. The design takes advantage of the long sweeps of the hillside and forest where parts of two holes are now located.
At the heart of this is an extraordinary 75,000-plus-square-foot Tuscan-inspired clubhouse.
