Oh my! What a May it has been!

Gary Gilchrist Pro Wins

In a coaching career that spans more than 20 years, Gary Gilchrist has been responsible for recruiting, training and developing more top-ranked junior-level golfers than any other coach in the world.  His system of training applies to juniors and professionals alike.

Knowing that everyone is different, Gary has created a unique approach to athletic development, and no matter which program you attend at the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy, we will adopt this holistic approach to give you the ultimate opportunity to be your best.  The month of May was truly a testament to Gary’s ideology to “Train Like a Champion”!

Shanshan Feng

China’s Shanshan Feng retained her Buick Championship title in a play off victory over South Korean, Na Yeon Choi. This Champion trained hard and was prepared to battle it out in the last three rounds with a 72-hole total of 14 Under. Feng won the title with a birdie putt at the first extra hole. Shanshan is currently ranked #10 in the world and has been training with Gary for over nine years. Gary exclaimed, “I am very excited seeing Jenny (Shanshan) playing so well. This is building confidence in her game preparing for the Olympics.”

Ariya Jutanugarn

Ariya achieved her first victory at Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic in early May. “It was such a pleasure to see Ariya achieve her first win on tour!” said Gary. “The first time we worked together, I could see that she had all the potential but lacked confidence in her game. It wasn’t long before she saw results in her practice plan. This immediately changed her mind – set and I could see her self belief improve.” This all led to her first win on the LPGA tour and gave her the confidence to win again in Williamsburg, Virginia at the LPGA Kingsmill Championship!

Over the years, Gary Gilchrist has developed and designed a program that will give you the motivation and self-belief to reach your full potential. Whether you are a current pro or just working on your golf game, Gary is confident that GGGA can help you reach your goals.
