The Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy is hosting a Spring Scholarship Tryout taking place April 21-22, 2017 at Mission Inn Resort. Players that apply to and attend the spring tryout are eligible to receive the Gary Gilchrist Golf Scholarship – a $5,000 scholarship towards tuition. At the Spring Scholarship Tryout, players will get a real experience of what the full-time training program at GGGA is like. Players will be evaluated on the Gary Gilchrist training system that features 5 key areas of development: mental, fitness, technical, strategy and character.
“This is a great opportunity for players to showcase their skills.” says Coach Bryan Mulry, Director of Golf. “More importantly, this is an opportunity for players to showcase their character. GGGA looks for a positive attitude and passion. Student’s must be able to demonstrate the desire to learn and grow.”
The scholarship is eligible for junior golfers and postgraduate students. Students must attend the tryout in order to earn the scholarship. The deadline to apply is March 30, 2017.
