Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy training facilities are located at the beautiful Mission Inn Resort & Club where our students have access to two championship courses that provide exceptional challenge and play. The golf experience is truly remarkable from the scenery—hills that roll and pitch, mature pine and magnolia trees that tower, eagles, and ospreys that fly overhead. The terrain of this part of Central Florida provides up to 85 ft. elevation changes and a peaceful ambiance void of fairway houses and condos.
This unique training environment allows you to train in golf course conditions every day. We have over 50,000 square feet of training tee space, 30,000 square feet of putting and short game greens, and 15,000 square feet of bunkers. There is no other training environment better equipped to prepare you and your game for competition.
IJGA Bishops Gate training ground has eight specialized training locations each with a specific goal for your development. We have four teeing areas that resemble different holes:
Located on beautiful Lake Harris in Florida’s Lake County, just 45 minutes from Orlando International Airport, The IJGA Bishops Gate training facility is second to none, where various challenging golf course conditions are replicated on the range, providing an environment that builds performance skills. The 17-acre training area, with 9 holes of golf and multiple areas to work on long game and short game, has been carefully designed to challenge players. It can be played from multiple tee locations to multiple greens, making it possible to train for almost every shot imaginable.
In addition to these two 18-hole award-winning courses, GGGA students also have access to the private training facilities of the academy. Technical and performance skills are honed at two private training tee areas and short game fundamentals are refined at our multiple bunkers and practice green areas.
