The Premier Junior Golf Tour held the Gary Gilchrist Summer Series at Mission Inn Resort & Club July 21 & 22, 2017. Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy Summer Campers participated in the event and we were proud to see our campers perform so well! Unfortunately, due to inclement weather during Round 2, the tournament was shortened to Round 1 for final results. Ties were broken using the #1 handicap hole.
In the Boys 13-15 division, camper Congratulations to Harshjeet Singh Sethie from New Delhi, India placed 1st! In the Boys 11-12 division, Darrell Santiago Rivera from Cidra, Puerto Rico came in 1st and in the Boys 9-10 division Jin Quan “Justin” Wen from Tianjin, China tied for 2nd!
In the Girls 13-15 division, Isabella Gomez Hjerthen from Bogota, Colombia placed first and Andrea Sofia Balaguer from Dorado, Puerto Rico came in 3rd! In the Girls 9-12 division, Maria Paula Garzon from Bogota, Colombia came in 2nd place and Adriana Isabel Balaguer from Dorado, Puerto Rico came in 3rd!
